This specimen was part of lot 2459 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), which sold for $42. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[India|INDIA]]: Republic, 2-coin mint set, 2010(k), struck at the Kolkata Mint, commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Mother Teresa (1910-1997), including 100 (silver) and 5 rupees, sealed in original booklet with paper sleeve; set of 2 coins." The new Rupee sign "₹" was adopted by the Government of India on 15 July 2010 and began appearing on notes and coins. The symbol had been "₨" heretofore. This type was struck at Kolkata and Hyderabad (star mintmark), Noida (annulet) and Mumbai (diamond). This set also included a 100 rupees ([[India 2010 100 rupees KM-382|KM 382]]). As of July 2025, 5 rupees = US$0.058.
