This specimen was lot 31699 in Heritage sale 3107 (Chicago, May 2023), where it sold for $19,200. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"[[Netherlands]]: [[Netherlands, Holland|Holland]]. Provincial silver 2 Ducat 1735 MS63 NGC. An absolute rarity, the only representative of this date graded across certification companies. Weighty and quite attractive in hand, this choice specimen exhibits pondlike fields beaming with opalescent iridescence. Minimal highpoint softness precludes a higher designation, though this piece likely remains one of the finest survivors of the issue."</blockquote> The SCWC lists silver ducats for 1734-35 and 1751-72 (KM 52.3) but does not mention the rare double ducats which Davenport notes for 1734-35 only.
