This specimen was lot 3724 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 950 (about US$1,191 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[Haldenstein.] Taler 1623. Sehr schön-gutes sehr schön. (very fine or better.)" Haldenstein was a barony in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is about two miles down the river Rhine from the town of [[Switzerland, Chur|Chur]], which also issued coins. The last coins are dated 1695.
