This specimen was lot 75057 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[India|INDIA]]. [[India, Gwalior|Gwailor]]. 1/4 Anna, VS 1999 (1942). Jivaji Rao (under George VI as Emperor). NGC MS-65 Red Brown. A charming Gem Mint State representative, with nice luster and good red throughout."  This quarter anna comes in various varieties and with small or large arms. Jivaji Rao ruled 1925-48 and struck quarter and half annas.
