The specimen shown is an example of a type struck in Munich for [[Germany, Federal Republic, Euro (2001-Current)|Germany]]. Germany began minting this type in 2002 which is still in production, altho some years, such as 2003, this denomination was struck only for the collector sets. To this writer's knowledge, Germany is the only country in Europe still operating branch mints; A - Berlin; D - Munich; F - Stuttgart; G - Karlsruhe and J - Hamburg.
