This specimen was lot 2586 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "Netherlands: Gelderland. Ducat, 1792. Standing knight. Reverse: Tablet with legend. NGC graded AU-50." Gelderland, along with several [[Utrecht 1724 ducat Fr-285|other Dutch provinces]], issued gold ducats from the sixteenth century until the termination of the United Provinces by Napoleon in the 1790's.
