This specimen was lot 1399 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 54,000 (about US$71,152 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''4 Konventionstaler 1767. Stuttgart Ausbeute der Grube St. Wenzeslaus bei Wolfach. IOSEPGUS WENCESLAUS . S . R . I . PRINCEPS . DE FURSTENBERG . Geharnischtes Brustbild nach rechts, am Armabschnitt A . R . W . (Adam Rudolph Werner, Stempelschneider in Stuttgart). Rv. SADERA FAVENT INDUSTRIÆ Bergwerkslandschaft, rechts der stehende hl. Wenzel mit Wappenschild, im Abschnitt vier Zeilen Schrift und die Jahreszahl über einer Rautenverzierung. Von grosser Seltenheit. Fast FDC.'' Of the highest rarity, choice uncirculated.)"</blockquote> Furstenberg was an insignificant county wedged between Baden and Wurttemberg (where this coin was struck). This type is very rare and is accompanied by silver one ([[Furstenberg 1767-ARW thaler Dav-2270|Dav-2270]]), three and eight thalers.
