This specimen was lot 55210 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Equatorial Guinea|EQUATORIAL GUINEA]]. 2000 Ekuele, ND (1979). PCGS PROOF-66 Deep Cameo. Commemorating the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina." As a former Spanish colony, this coin was struck in Madrid. It shows traces of a hasty design in the clumsy layout and lettering. Coinage from this country is hard to find and comprises mostly NCLT's.
