This specimen was lot 1105 in Jean Elsen sale 160 (Brussels, November 2024), where it sold for €240 (about US$304 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''BRABANT, Duché, Jean IV (1415-1427), AR demi-gros (quart de drielander), 1420-1421, Bruxelles. Au titre de comte de Hainaut, de Hollande et de Zélande. D/ Dans un polylobe orné de lis, les écus inclinés de Brabant-Bourgogne et de Hainaut. En dessous, un lis. R/ Croix pattée cantonnée de deux fleurs de lis et de deux lions. En légende intérieure: + MONET: FCA: BRVX. Très rare. Fine fêlure. presque Très Beau.'' ([[Netherlands, Spanish|duchy of Brabant]], John IV, 1415-27, silver half groat or quarter drielander, circa 1420-21, Brussels mint, with the title of count of Hainaut, Holland and Zeeland. Obverse: within a polylobe decorated with lilies, the inclined shields of Brabant and Burgundy and Hainaut, a lily below; reverse: cross pattée cantonned with two fleurs-de-lys and two lions.
