This specimen was lot 1106 in Sincona sale 54 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$1,904 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916. 20 Kronen 1916, Wien. Mit Bindeschild. Gutes vorzüglich. Minimal justiert.'' (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, Good extremely fine, Minor adjustment marks.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1909-16. 1910 is the only common date. It varies from the prior [[Austria 1910 20 corona|Fr-509]] by deleting the order chain around the shield on the reverse.
