This specimen was lot 1613 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$501 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Joseph II. 1765-1790. Dukat 1789 B, Kremnitz. Gutes sehr schön.'' ([[Austria|Holy Roman Empire]], Joseph II, 1765-90, ducat of 1789, Kremnitz mint. Good very fine.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1780-90 at Vienna (A), Kremnitz (B, shown here), Karlsburg (E), Hall (F) and Nagybanya (G). Friedberg lists this date under [[Hungary]] but the design is strictly Austrian.
