This specimen was lot 2735 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - [[Austria|AUSTRIA]]. Erzherzog Leopold V. 1619-1632 Taler 1620. Ensisheim. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich.'' (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Leopold V, 1619-32, thaler of 1620, Ensisheim mint. Almost extremely fine-extremely fine)"</blockquote> This type, from Ensisheim in Alsace, is mentioned by Davenport for 1620 only and as fairly common. The French occupied the mint in 1632 and production ceased.
