This specimen was lot 2432 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 16,000 CHF (about US$19,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Olmütz, Bistum Karl II. von Liechtenstein-Castelcorno, 1664-1695. 2 Dukaten 1684, Kremsier. CAROL,D:G-EPVS-OLOMVCENSIS-DVX-S-R-I-PCEPS-Büste nach rechts im geistlichen Gewand mit breitem Kragen. Rv. G-CA-BO-TE-DE-LIECHTENSTAIN-COMES Verziertes vierfeldiges Stiftswappen; in der Mitte das Familienwappen. Zu den Seiten Schnitzwerk. Oben Krummstab, Inful, Fürstenhut und Schwert, darüber Jahreszahl. Vorzüglich-fast FDC. Ex Auktion UBS 66, September 2006, Lot 1530. Ex Golden Sale III, Auktion Hans M. F. Schulman, New York, 24. Oktober 1963, Lot 471.'' Obverse: bust right in clerical vestments and collar; reverse: Fourfold arms of Oben Krummstab, Inful, Fürstenhut and Schwert, with bishop's crozier to left and sword to right. Extremely fine to uncirculated, from UBS auction 66, lot 1530 (September 2006).)"</blockquote> This type issued 1672-93 is among the rare issues from this ecclesiastical state in Moravia, then part of [[Austria]], now the Czech Republic. Later thalers from the 1720's are listed quite inexpensively. Altho assigned the same catalog number by the SCWC and by Friedberg, the reverse of this specimen is distinctly different than the issue of [[Olmutz 1680 2 ducats Fr-79|1680]].
