This specimen was issued by the [[Mexico]] City mint to honor the bicentennial of the Mexican military academy. Like many recent issues, it remains unlisted in the SCWC. The oblong patch on the obverse contains microengraving, an anticounterfeiting device. The twenty pesos was reduced from 15.95 g, 32 mm diameter to 12.67 g, 30 mm diameter, in 2019.
