This specimen was lot 2605 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,204 including buyers' fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN AB 1871 · BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND, 50 Pfennig 1950 G. Bank Deutscher Länder. Stempelglanz. Aus der Sammlung eines deutschen Fabrikanten und Geschichtsfreundes.'' ([[Germany]], [[Germany, West Germany|Federal Republic]], fifty pfennig of 1950. Uncirculated.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1949-50 at four mints (Munich = D, Stuttgart = F, Karlsruhe = G, Hamburg = J) and is common. The kneeling woman planting a tree design was recycled for the BRD issues of 1950 and 1966-2002 ([[Germany 1950-G 50 pfennig|KM 109.1]]).
