This specimen was lot 572 in Sincona sale 89 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$159 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''DEUTSCHLAND Brandenburg-Franken, Markgrafschaft, Friedrich, 1495-1515. Schilling o. J., Schwabach. Vorzüglich. Überdurchschnittliche Erhaltung. Exemplar der Auktion Bankhaus Aufhäuser 10, München, Oktober 1993, Los 1675.'' ([[Germany]], [[German States, Brandenburg|margraviate of Brandenburg-Franconia]], Frederick, 1495-1515, undated schilling, Schwabach mint. Extremely fine, Extraordinary condition.)"</blockquote> A dated version of this coin is known for 1511-15. Brandenburg-Franconia was divided into Brandenburg-Ansbach and Brandenburg-Bayreuth on the death of Georg Friedrich in 1603.
