This specimen was lot 38466 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Germany|GERMANY]]. Federal Republic. 10 Euros, 2007-G. Karlsruhe Mint. PCGS MS-65." Other ten euro issued in Germany in 2007 include KM 264 (Treaty of Rome, Stuttgart mint), KM 265 (Wilhelm Busch, Munich mint), KM 266 (Federal Bank, Hamburg mint) and KM 268 (Elisabeth von Thüringen, Berlin mint). Astute observers will not that each NCLT was assigned to a different mint. In 1946, France detach the Saarland from its occupation zone and made it into a separate protectorate with the goal of annexing it to France. Local resistance frustrated the design, and the Saar was returned to West Germany in 1953.
