This specimen was lot 1613 in Sincona sale 76 (Zurich, May 2022), where it sold for 5,250 CHF (about US$ including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SWEDEN. Friedrich I. 1720-1751. Dukat 1747, Stockholm. Mit der Signatur HM (Hans Malmberg, Münzmeister in Stockholm, 1738-1762). Selten. Fast FDC. NGC MS62. Prachtexemplar.'' (kingdom of [[Sweden]], Frederick I, 1720-51, ducat of 1747, Stockholm mint, with mintmaster's initials HM. Rare, About uncirculated, Cabinet piece.)"</blockquote> In the pre-reform Swedish coinage, 8 öre = one mark and 96 öre = one riksdaler. This type was struck in several varieties 1734-50 and is the first reasonably common Swedish ducat, despite the tiny mintage. Another ducat with round arms on the reverse (KM 441) also exists for 1747 but is quite rare.
