This specimen was lot 4627 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,443 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. 1/2 Reichstaler 1760, Hall. Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich/vorzüglich-Stempelglanz.'' ([[Austria]], Maria Theresia, 1740-80, half thaler of 1760, Hall mint. Handsome patina, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1756-65 for Maria Theresia and is fairly common. Other half thalers for 1760 include KM 1822 (mature bust, Vienna mint) or KM 2036 (Francis I).
