This specimen was lot 3612 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,348 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''BREMEN, ERZBISTUM, Heinrich II. Graf von Schwarzburg, 1463-1496. Goldgulden o. J. Bremen. GOLD. Sehr schön.'' ([[Germany]], archbishopric of Bremen, Henry II, count of Schwarzburg, 1463-96, undated goldgulden, Bremen mint. Very fine.)"</blockquote> This is the only gold coin of this ruler, who issued coins separately from those of the Hanseatic city. The archbishopric went over to Lutheranism during the Reformation and was handed to Sweden after the Thirty Years War.
