This specimen was lot 31545 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Zurich. City 1/2 Taler 1758 MS64 NGC, Zurich mint, KM 145, HMZ-21165zz. Obv. Obv. Rampant lion holding sword and Zurich arms. Rev. Four-line inscription, and date. Full, bright mint luster, with a touch of russet patina around the devices. The surfaces display only minor marks and the reverse has a touch of soft strike in the inscription, with light adjustment marks. An exceptional example of the type. By far, the finest example of this date we have seen. From the Redwood Collection, Part II."
