This specimen was lot 31243 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $1,292.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Zeeland. Provincial silver Piefort Ducat 1748 XF45 PCGS, KM 52.2. A coin that is severely undergraded, expressing near-Mint State detail across the devices and only minor instances of friction atop the higher points. Broad, alluring, and extremely heavy in this Piefort quality, decidedly scarce at any level, but particularly in this level of preservation."
Dav-1847 listed for 1747-48 and 1777. very rare. 56.5 g, .873 fine silver.
