This specimen was lot 21301 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Venice. Scudo, (1752)-GAC. Francesco Loredano (1752-62). NGC MS-64. Dav-1548; C-9; Paolucci-11. Gleaming in the field with compliments of pale champagne tone on both sides and bold detail on the designs despite some evidence of significant rotation between strikes. One of two certified at this top grade by NGC. Ex: Eugenio Fornoni Verona, February 2003."
