This specimen was lot 21300 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Venice. Scudo, (1714-15)-AM. Giovanni Corner II (1709-22). NGC MS-64. Dav-1530; Paolucci-17. A lovely example, exceptionally preserved, with mild peripheral toning, great luster and a touch of inconsequential strike weakness at the centers that likely prevented an even more remarkable grade. As it is, the single finest certified at either NGC or PCGS."
KM 477, 31.83 g, .948 fine silver, struck 1709-21.
