This specimen was lot 543 in Schulman sale 347 (Amsterdam, April 2015), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,604 including buyer's fees). The catalog description noted, "piedfort dukaton of zilveren rijder. 1712. op dubbele zwaarte. type iii. Ruiter naar rechts boven gekroond provinciewapentje met stadsschild in het hart en titel …Belg. tRai. ❁. Kz. generaliteitswapen, jaartal in cartouche onder het wapen. gladde rand. Delm. 1031a; V. vgl. 100.3; pW. 59.2; Dav-1831. 65.22 g. RRRR. unicuM. Zeer fraai. uit veiling Schulman 283 van 17 mrt. 1986, no. 247. - > uit veiling Schulman 62 van 11 dec. 1905, no. 3411. het enige bij ons voorgekomen exemplaar, afkomstig uit de collectie Speelman. (this piece is the only one known to exist. We have sold it previously in 1986 and 1905.)"
