This specimen was lot 534 in Schulman sale 347 (Amsterdam, April 2014), where it sold for €3,200 (about US$4,119 including buyer's fees). The catalog description noted, "piedfort dukaton of zilveren rijder. 1664. op dubbele zwaarte. type Ia. Ruiter naar rechts boven ongekroond provinciewapentje en titel …BELG• TRAJ. stadsschild.. Kz. generaliteitswapen, jaartal boven de kroon. Binnencirkels op voor- en keerzijde en met gladde rand. Delm. 1029a; V. 99.3; Dav-A4937. 64.42 g. RRRR. dit is het enige bekende exemplaar. Zeer fraai. uit veiling Schulman 340 van 1 dec. 2012, no. 161. (piedfort ducaton or silver Rider Struck with double weight. obv. Knight on horseback to right. Rev. crowned arms flanked by lions. Very fine. Only known example. Extremely rare.)"
