This specimen was lot 21265 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $1,645. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. 1/2 Ducaton (1/2 Silver Rider), 1784. PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder. KM-115.1; Delm-1055. Corded edge reading. Wonderful sharp strike, minor die cracking seen at the bottom of obverse. Very handsome old cabinet toning throughout with vibrant electric blue and green hues around devices. A remarkable example with a great old collection look and sure to please the new owner."
