This specimen was lot 2124 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €5,000 (about US$6,459 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SIEBENBÜRGEN, FÜRSTEN Gabriel Bethlen, 1613-1629. Doppelte Reichstalerklippe 1627, MC, Kaschau. 57.02 g. Geharnischtes Hüftbild r. mit der Rechten das Zepter schulternd//Gekröntes, vierfeldiges Wappen mit dem Familienwappen Bethlen als Mittelschild. Dav. 4718; Resch 389 var. RR Hübsche Patina, kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, kl. Druckstelle im Feld der Vorderseite, fast vorzüglich. (principality of Transylvania, Gabriel Bethlen, 1613-29, doulbe thaler of 1627, Kaschau mint. Obverse: armored bust to right holding scepter; reverse: crowned quartered arms with Bethlen arms on escutcheon. Rare, toned, rim cracks, dent in obverse field, choice extremely fine.)"
