This specimen was lot 2516 in Sincona sale 57 (Zurich, May 2019), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$417 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIUM | Tournai, Herrschaft, Philipp II. 1555-1598. 1/2 Taler 1585, Tournai. Sogenannter 1/2 Philippstaler. 17.00 g. Vanhoudt 301 TO. Sehr seltener Jahrgang. Gutes sehr schön. Überdurchschnittlich gut ausgeprägt. (lordship of Tournai, Philip II, 1555-98, half thaler of 1585, Tournai mint, the so-called half philippsdaalder. Very rare date, Good very fine, Extraordinarily well struck.)"
