This specimen was lot 1705 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $4,406.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Daler Plate Money, 1748-G. Husa Mint. Fredrik I (1720-51). 5 x 5.75 in. KM-PM70; AAH-308; BT-A1. VERY RARE one year plate type (Tingstrom: 37 examples known). Made from copper from the Gustafsberg Company as denoted by the crowned "G" below the mintmark. Stamps a bit uneven. The center stamp mostly full, but all features discernible, while the corner stamps display four full legible dates with one stamp about half full. A very neat and tidy plate that is very symmetrical and pleasing in the hand. The reverse suggests that the blanks for these branch mint plates were produced by rolling the copper flat, rather than hammering it. Attractive rich glossy brown patina. A VERY RARE and desirable piece that is highly sought after by collectors. "
