This specimen was lot 2018 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €7,500 (about US$9,689 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"KÖNIGREICH Erik XIV. 1560-1568. 3 Mark 1562, Stockholm. 30.86 g. Gekröntes, ovales, vierfeldiges Wappen: Drei Kronen (Tre kronor) / Folkunger-Löwe (Folkungar) mit Mittelschild Korngarbe (Vasa)//Stadtansicht mit Schärengarten, oben Zepter in Wolken und Strahlen. Ahlström 15; Dav-8703. RR Attraktives Exemplar mit feiner Tönung, fast vorzüglich. (kingdom of Sweden, Eric XIV, 1560-68, three mark of 1562, Stockholm mint. Obverse: crowned, oval arms with the three crowns quartered with the Swedish lion; reverse: city view on islands, scepter in clouds and sun rays above. Rare, attractive example with fine toning, choice extremely fine.)"
