This specimen was lot 31492 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $587.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar I 2 Skillings 1844 MS65 Brown PCGS, Stockholm mint, KM 660, Tingstrom-13, Ahlstrom-76. Obv. Large bust of Oscar I right. Rev. Date and value in wreath. Sparkling iridescent luster, with superbly defined devices. Only a few tiny marks are noted, with touches of original mint-red color on the reverse highlighting the glowing reddish-brown patina. A very scarce two-year type, with none certified finer and only one other piece certified in MS65 Brown by NGC."
