This specimen was lot 30636 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $6,462.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ferdinand VII gold 320 Reales 1823 M-SR AU58 PCGS, Madrid mint, KM 566, Onza-1244. Well detailed and highly lustrous with scant high-point wear preventing the Mint state designation and a few non-distracting handling marks on the obverse. The rare final date of this very scarce two-year type, and a coin of great importance since effectively the last struck to the 8 Escudos standard. Very elusive and most desirable in this fine preservation."

m. unknown. struck 1822-23 only and rare.
