This specimen was lot 5345 in Sincona sale 35 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,781 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Solothurn, Batzen 1807. 2.62 g. D.T. 129. HMZ 2-859b. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. FDC. Winziger Schrötlingsfehler. (canton of Solothurn, one batzen of 1807. Very rare in this condition, Cabinet piece, Brilliant uncirculated, Minor planchet defect.)"
