This specimen was lot 25328 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "Sicily. Ferdinando III 10 Grani 1815-VB, KM8, MS64 Brown NGC. A slightly crude-strike on this otherwise attractive example with abundant, reddish-orange mint luster. An extremely scarce, large copper type with a premium designation. From the Gherardi Collection."
