This specimen was lot 1154 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €8,250 (about US$10,658 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM Friedrich III. der Weise, Georg und Johann, 1500-1507. Taler o. J. Annaberg. Klappmützentaler. Dav-9707 B; Schnee 5. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit hübscher Patina, vorzüglich. (Electorate of Saxony, Frederick the Wise, George and John, 1500-07, undated "hooded" thaler, Annaberg mint. Very rare, especially in this quality, very attractive with handsome toning, extremely fine.)"
