This specimen was part of lot 1253 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €775 (about US$1,045 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich August I. 1806-1827. Konv.-Taler 1821 (Jahreszahl im Stempel aus 1820 geändert), IGS. Ausbeute. Dazu: 1/3 Taler 1818 IGS. AKS 23, 36; Dav. 858; Kahnt 423; Thun 299. R 2 Stück., Sehr schön. Exemplare der Slg. Horn. (kingdom of Saxony, Frederick Augustus I, 1806-27, convention thaler of 1821/0, mining, and one-third thaler of 1818, two pieces, very fine.)"
