This specimen was lot 1240 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,600 (about US$4,852 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Xaver, 1763-1768. Konv.-Taler 1765, Dresden. Prämie der Bergakademie Freiberg. Dav-2679; Müseler 56.1.4/3; Schnee 1056. R Nur 220 Exemplare geprägt. Kräftige Patina, winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich. Exemplar der Preussag Collection, Part I. Auktion London Coin Galleries/Künker 1, London 2015, Nr. 393. (electorate of Saxony, Xavier, 1763-68, convention thaler of 1765, Dresden mint, prize for the mining school at Freiberg. Scarce, only 220 examples struck. Awesome toning, minor scratches, extremely fine.)"
