This specimen was lot 30837 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $646.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Saxony. Friedrich August I 1/3 Taler 1707-ILH AU55 NGC, KM 748. A two-year issue that depicts the effigy of Friedrich August I, King of Saxony and Duke of Warsaw, atop darkly toned surfaces the shade of steel. The fields contain remnants of original mint luster and the mildest of handling, along with highpoint rub, are all noted in the grade. Presently the highest certified example of the type by either major grading party and a coin that is sure to interest collectors of German and Polish coinage."

Issued 1706-07 and fairly inexpensive. 1/3 thaler = 1/2 gulden.
