This specimen was lot 30700 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), where it sold for $3,525. The catalog description[1] noted, "Saxony. Friedrich August I Taler 1731-IGS MS63 NGC, KM-776, Dav-2653. Boldly struck with desirable old cabinet tone and underlying golden luster, this broad example features the crowned arms of Poland and Saxony."
