This specimen was lot 1333 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €2,200 (about US$2,842 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN-SAALFELD, HERZOGTUM, AB 1735 SACHSEN-COBURG-SAALFELD Ernst I. 1806-1826. Kronentaler 1825. Mit Randschrift: EIN KRONTHALER. AKS 127; Dav-833; Kahnt 502; Thun 373. Von großer Seltenheit. Hübsche Patina, winz. Randfehler, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (duchy of Saxe-Saalfeld, Ernest I, 1806-26, crown thaler of 1825, with edge lettering. Of the greatest rarity, toned, tiny edge cracks, very fine to extremely fine.)"
