This specimen was lot 532 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY, Sardegna (Regno). Vittorio Emanuele II. As Re Eletto d’Italia, 1859-1861. AR 50 Centesimi (18mm, 2.52 g, 6h). Bologna mint. Guiseppe Ferraris, engraver. Dated 1859 F B. KM 7; C 1; Mont 111. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Superb prooflike brilliant uncirculated gem. Just a hint of color. Finest graded specimen. A real jewel of a coin. Purchased from Frank Lapa, January 1969."
