This specimen was lot 2562 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria: Salzburg. 2 Talers, 1618 NGC EF. Dav-3490. 57.21 grams. Marcus Sitticus von Hohenems, 1612-1619. Hatted arms. Reverse; Saint on throne. Toned. Rare. NGC graded Extremely Fine, Details (Repaired)."
KM 40 issued as klippe 1614-19 along with klippe single thaler (KM 39). Both expensive.
