This specimen was lot 31684 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony. Elizabeth II 2 Shillings 1954 MS65 NGC, KM 30. A seldom seen one year type coin, this piece is incredibly difficult to encounter in grades of mint state, especially this gem. The top of the pop from either service, with only two even being graded at one level below this example. Highly lustrous and brilliant."
struck 1954 only, m. 300,000 + 20 proofs, 11.31 g, copper-nickel, 28.52 mm diameter. scarce, last issue of the denomination first struck 1932.
