This specimen was lot 31683 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony. Elizabeth II Proof Penny 1954 PR67 Red PCGS, KM 29. A marvelous and truly breathtaking specimen, boasting an incredibly small mintage of just 20 pieces in proof. With fully mirrored surfaces, brilliantly offering an array of iridescence back toward the viewer, it is easy to see how one could be easily transfixed by its charm and elegance. Of interest to the most serious of commonwealth cabinets."
