This specimen was part of lot 36654 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), which sold for $540.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic Eleven-Coin Proof Set 1953, KM-PS26. Mintage 600 sets. Farthing to 1/2 and Pond gold. A beautifully-toned set with all coins choice proof and exhibiting mottled surfaces with iridescent patina. Sold with box of issue."
