This specimen was lot 23168 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1773. Catherine II (the great) (1762-96). PCGS Genuine--Repaired, AU Details Secure Holder. C-67a.2. Imperceptible hidden repair. A few minor edge flaws, good strike with light toning."
Two mintmasters for 1773: Yakov Chemishev (1770-76, scarce for 1773) and Fedor Lesnikov (1773-79, normal for 1773). mintage: 2,378,000.
