This specimen was lot 25783 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $29,375. The catalog description[1] noted, "A Superb Poltina of Ivan VI (1/2 Rouble) 1741 CПБ, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-42 (R1), Diakov-7, Petrov (20 Rub), AU55 NGC. Obv. Laureate bust right. Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. Gray and russet toning over lustrous surfaces with minor flan flaws. An extremely rare one-year type and one of the few pieces we have offered. Ex: Stack's Auction, December 3-5 1996, Lot 2049."
