This specimen was lot 25741 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $12,925. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ferdinand I gold 100 Lei 1922, KMX-M4, Fr-9, MS63 NGC. Some typical light contact marks on the obverse, with light original toning. Rare type celebrating the coronation of Ferdinand and an issue which has gained considerable collector focus in recent years."
