This specimen was lot 1051 in Jean Elsen sale 118 (Brussels, September 2013), where it sold for €170 (about US$268 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, REUSS-EBERSDORF, Heinrich XXIV (1747-1779), AR Konventionstaler, 1765 ICE, Saalfeld. Ref.: S.& K-600; Dav-2642. 27,73g. Nettoyé. Les champs repolis. Heinrich XXIV était le grand-père maternel du roi Léopold Ier de Belgique. Beau à Très Beau. (Reuss-Ebersdorf, Henry XXIV (1747-79) silver convention thaler of 1765, Saalfeld mint. Cleaned, fields tooled, fine to very fine. Henry was the maternal grandfather of king Leopold I of Belgium.)"
